InvuAI Editorial Standards
Last updated: October 2025
At InvuAI, we believe clarity and credibility are the foundation of trust.
Our editorial standards exist to ensure every piece of content we publish, whether an industry analysis, research report, or thought-leadership article, is accurate, transparent, and genuinely useful.
We aim to set the bar for responsible, evidence-based writing in the era of AI-driven search and brand visibility.
Our Editorial Principles
We write and publish with five principles that guide every stage of our work:
- Accuracy
Every article is built on verified facts and reliable data. We reference original sources, validate statistics, and ensure statements reflect the latest industry context. - Expertise
Content is written and reviewed by professionals with deep experience in SEO, AI, and marketing. We collaborate with practitioners — not just commentators — to ensure our advice reflects real-world practice. - Clarity & Readability
We translate complex ideas into accessible, plain language. Our readers should never need a glossary to understand our insights. - Value & Originality
We strive to go beyond surface-level commentary. Each piece must offer unique data, frameworks, or perspectives that can’t be found elsewhere. - Integrity
Transparency matters more than polish. We disclose affiliations, cite every source, and credit all contributors involved in the creation or review of our content.
Editorial Process
To uphold these standards, every article goes through a multi-step editorial process designed to combine accuracy, expertise, and style.
1. Research & Briefing
Each topic begins with an editorial brief grounded in data. We research existing coverage, emerging trends, and reader intent before a single line is written.
2. Expert Writing
Writers select topics that align with their domain expertise. All contributors are vetted for subject knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards. They produce content that is both actionable and evidence-based.
3. Fact-Checking & Editing
Every article is reviewed by an editor familiar with the topic area. This step includes:
- Cross-checking all data and statistics against original sources
- Ensuring claims are balanced and accurately represented
- Editing for tone, grammar, readability, and brand consistency
4. Visuals & Data Design
Our design team creates custom charts, screenshots, and graphics to clarify complex ideas. Images and visuals must support comprehension — not decoration — and adhere to our visual identity.
5. Final Approval
A senior editor performs the final review to ensure the content aligns with our editorial principles and adds genuine value to our readers. Only then is it approved for publication.
Content Integrity & Transparency
We are committed to full transparency in every piece of content we produce.
- Disclosure of Relationships
When an author or editor has a professional or financial connection to a company or tool mentioned in the article, this is clearly disclosed within the piece. - Citations & Sources
We link only to credible, authoritative sources — typically the original data, publication, or research study. We avoid citing third-party roundups or unattributed statistics. - No Sponsored Content Disguised as Editorial
We never accept or publish undisclosed paid placements, affiliate links, or promotional articles. - Human-Crafted Writing
While we use AI tools for research, idea generation, and editing support, every InvuAI article is written, edited, and approved by humans. All AI-assisted material is reviewed for originality, accuracy, and context before publication.
Voice and Style
InvuAI’s editorial tone reflects who we are — curious, analytical, and human.
- Voice: Confident, informed, and approachable.
- Tone: Professional but not robotic — we explain, not lecture.
- Structure: Clear hierarchy of headings, short paragraphs, and logical flow for easy scanning and comprehension.
- Terminology: We use consistent, industry-accurate terms and avoid jargon unless it clarifies a complex idea.
Our internal style follows InvuAI’s own AI-Visibility Style Guide, which builds upon the principles of the AP Stylebook and Google Developer Documentation Style Guide.
Use of Data and AI Examples
When referencing AI tools, prompts, or outputs, we:
- Clearly label all examples generated by AI.
- Edit all AI-generated text to ensure factual accuracy and remove potential bias.
- Use screenshots or snippets only for educational and analytical purposes, with proper attribution.
Editorial Corrections & Updates
We regularly review published content to keep it accurate and relevant.
- Corrections: If an error is identified, it will be corrected promptly with an editorial note explaining the update.
- Updates: When major revisions are made — such as new data, policy changes, or evolving AI models — the article will display a new publish or update date.
- Version Control: Older versions may be archived internally for transparency and reference.
Image and Media Policy
- Only original visuals, InvuAI-created graphics, or properly licensed images are used.
- We avoid stock imagery unless it adds clear explanatory value.
- Every image includes alternative text for accessibility and SEO.
- All screenshots are used under fair use and attributed with the source and date (e.g., Screenshot from Google Search, October 2025).
Contributor Guidelines
InvuAI occasionally invites expert contributors to share their insights.
To qualify, contributors must:
- Have verifiable experience in SEO, AI, or related digital fields.
- Submit 100% original content not published elsewhere.
- Disclose any relevant partnerships or conflicts of interest.
- Agree that submissions undergo full editorial and fact-checking review before publication.
We do not publish:
- Promotional or sales-driven content.
- AI-generated text without human review.
- Topics that violate Google’s content policies (e.g., gambling, adult, or deceptive content).
SEO and Readability Best Practices
We follow the same SEO principles we recommend to clients:
- Optimized titles and meta descriptions that inform, not mislead.
- Descriptive URLs and relevant headings (H2/H3).
- Internal and external linking to authoritative sources.
- Data freshness and proper schema usage when relevant.
- Concise paragraphs, active voice, and clear formatting for both human and machine readability.
Corrections, Rights & Republishing
- Corrections – factual errors or clarifications can be reported to: editorial@invuai.com.
- Rights – all InvuAI content is original and protected by copyright. Republishing is allowed only with prior permission and canonical tagging.
- Revisions – we may edit or update articles post-publication to reflect new data or feedback.
